SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12TH — NOON TO 4PM — 700 FAIRMOUNT TO LIBERTY LANDS PARK
Keep Northern Liberties weird. It’s what North Bowl owner Oron Daskal has been saying for years. It’s what inspired us to bring you the First Annual Poe Raid. Teams of 4 compete in a singularly different relay race through Northern Liberties ending in a block party at Liberty Lands Park with games, food, booze, and more. The winning team will take home the Coeur de Conte, the Tell Tale Heart trophy.
The event is free to attend, is family and cat friendly (well, maybe don’t bring your cat). Crafts, food, and special beer + cocktails will be for sale..
Team members participants MUST dress as Poe. Mustache required. Pomade suggested.
They will pass a raven baton along a course from Fairmount and N. American into Liberty Lands Park, each leg confronting a unique challenge that will test their sanity, their wit, their perseverance.
