Northern Liberties Shines in Philadelphia’s First Michelin Guide

Northern Liberties continues to prove itself as one of Philadelphia’s most exciting culinary destinations, and now we have the Michelin honors to prove it! Two of our neighborhood’s standout restaurants have been officially recognized in the inaugural Michelin Guide to Philadelphia 2025.

Pietramala has made history, earning Philadelphia’s first-ever Michelin Green Star, a distinction reserved for restaurants leading the way in sustainable gastronomy.

Chef Ian Graye and the Pietramala team have been recognized for their commitment to environmentally conscious practices, from sourcing ingredients responsibly to minimizing food waste. Many of the herbs used in their dishes are even grown right here in the Liberty Lands Community Garden, connecting their menu directly to the heart of our neighborhood.

This award places Pietramala among the most forward-thinking restaurants in America. We couldn’t be prouder to have them as part of the Northern Liberties community!

Known for their standout cheesesteaks (those seeded rolls!) and classic pizzas, Del Rossi’s is a favorite in Northern Liberties and beyond.

Their Bib Gourmand listing, a Michelin recognition celebrating spots that deliver exceptional food at a great value, is well-deserved.
