What is the Northern Liberties BID?

The Northern Liberties Business Improvement District was created in July 2018 to provide supplements to the municipal services of the City of Philadelphia; maintain a safe, clean and vibrant commercial district for the benefit of all users; create opportunities for the business and residential communities to make improvements in the district; and develop and implement programs and services that ensure Northern Liberties continues to be a desirable place to live, work, shop, invest and visit.

Our Services
The NLBID provides five day-a-week sidewalk sweeping, maintains greenscapes, liaisons with the police and City agencies, and seeks out grant funding to magnify our capital improvement efforts. We also market the district to potential tenants and customers.
The BID Boundary
The boundaries of the Business Improvement District were determined by a comprehensive study lead by a steering committee of area business owners, property owners, local employees, and residents.
