Philly Spring Clean on Fairmount Ave

The NLBID welcomes volunteers from Quaint Oak Bank on Saturday, April 15th for our Philly Spring Clean project. BID staff and bank volunteers will take on the 100 block of Fairmount Avenue under I95.

“Since no one lives along this stretch, it is often a site of dumping,” says NLBID executive director Kristine Kennedy. “But it is also an entry point to the neighborhood and, being just off the N 2nd St business corridor, a place where a lot of visitors park. We want it to be a welcoming entry.”

Additional volunteers are encouraged to simply show up with some work gloves and a broom between 9am and noon on Saturday, April 15th.
